German colleagues are concerned with the problems of forest management
in the deciduous forests of the Kiev region

On October 17, the State Enterprise “Bila Tserkva Forestry” hosted a delegation from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Germany. The meeting began on the basis of the Tomilovo forestry with the introductory speech of the first deputy chief of the regional and city of Kiev of the forestry and hunting management Gusenko R.V. He familiarized the guests with the main problems and achievements of the forestry area, answered a number of questions from German colleagues.
Aspects of forest management in the southern part of the Kiev region at the meeting were highlighted by the director of the state enterprise “Bilotserkivsky forestry” A. Vitryak. Along with the general issues of forest management in Ukraine, experts from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Germany were interested in the problems of foresters due to changes in climatic conditions on the continent and the prospects for their solution in the near future.
At the meeting foreign colleagues were shown areas of the forest, disrupted as a result of the negative influence of various natural factors. With the participation of forestry pathologist Gubry AV demonstrated linden planting affected by a semi-parasite mistletoe white, aberrant common ash with signs of root rot of the fungal origin of origin, drying of birch bark with signs of Dutch venipuncture, and also projections of Ukrainian and German experts for the future of European forests.
During the meeting with the guests there was an exchange of information on the European experience of forestry management and the prospect of cooperation in the future.
