"Introduction in forestry practice of selective and gradual systems of the ore with advanced timber technology contributes to the formation of natural forests, increase of their stability and ensures permanent functioning of forests, as well as more Efficient use of forest resources,-said Volodymyr Bondar.

Also during the college the advantages and disadvantages of transition from continuous to gradual and selective systems of the Rubok were discussed. In particular, among the shortcomings are the difficulties of mechanization of forestry works, increase of costs for wood harvesting, absence of special equipment due to its high cost. The advantages of preserving the nature of forest plantings, continuous execution of forest protective, aesthetic and recreational functions; Success of the natural renewal of many woody breeds, reducing the cost of reproduction of forests; Increase the stability of trees to pests and diseases, reduce the dangers of windstorms and storms.

In this regard, the Board of the State forestry decided to instruct the regional administration of forestry and hunting economy and ukrderzhlesproject in preparation of materials that determine the conduct of wood, to ensure the increase of application Selective and gradual systems of Rubok.

We really need to switch to new methods of wood harvesting. Of course, this should be done gradually by introducing new technologies. In addition, the relevant changes in the normative and legal acts that regulate the holding of gradual and selective systems of the rubok are required. And this work we have to do quickly and qualitatively,-said Volodymyr Bondar, deputy chairman of the State forestry.
