More than 10 hectares of forest burned out in Kharkiv region

As of September 3, the State forest protection is being repunishable on the contour of the wood-wrapped cells, which began on August 31.

Let us recall that on August, 31st the territory of the Zhovtnechansky Forest farm in Kharkiv region was discovered by the deforestation. Fire managed to localize the same day with the forces of the State Forest guard and division of the SNS.

 Already on September 1, a new cell of fire was discovered. Windy weather (gusts up to 10 m/s) contributed to a significant spread of fire. During the day on the extinguishing of the forest fire was involved 233 units of equipment, including 3 fire trucks, 3 tractor MTZ-82 with fire ploughs PAP-1.2, Helicopter mi-8, airplane An-32 p and fire train. Total attracted 166 people, including 60 employees forestry.

During 2 September the smoldering forest bedding, penkiv, dried fallen trees were conducted.

In total forest fires destroyed 10.4 hectares of forest, including 2 hectares – horse fire.
