SE Polissya forestry on March 21, the international day of forests

The FOREST is the largest richness of Polissya.

The UN General Assembly adopted resolution a/RS/67/200, in accordance with which proclaimed March 21, international day of forests. This day aims to draw attention to the importance of the value of all types of forests. Starting in 2013, the international forest day is celebrated in all countries of the world.

By tradition, this year’s State Agency of forest resources of Ukraine carries out the action “the future of the forest in your hands,” which starts March 21, the international day of the forest and continues to the day, which this year in Ukraine is celebrated on April 21.

We all know the forest is of great industrial and economic value plays an important role in our lives already, not to mention its effect on the environment and human health. The forest gives us beauty and comfort, gives a great benefit, it is called the green lungs of the Earth. Because it enriches the air with oxygen-so far the fit for life! Cleans air from dust and dirt, reduces the speed of the wind, coming from the forest depends on the water level in rivers and abundant harvest in the fields. Green areas ozdorovlûût. From a trip to the forest people usually come back empty-handed. Among their pleasant stretchers – berries, mushrooms medicinal plants. One word, it’s green treasure trove.
