SE Ivankiv forestry about international day of forests

21 March is known as the world day of the forest. This tradition was initiated by the European Confederation of agriculture, and the 2013 year UN General Assembly proclaimed its international day. It is celebrated on the day of the vernal equinox in the northern hemisphere, which by tradition is considered the first day of spring and is a symbol of new life and new beginnings.

One of the main tasks of the international day of the forest is attracting the attention of the inhabitants of the planet to save the forests, informing about the importance of the importance of forest ecosystems, the main measures for their protection and recovery.

From this day throughout Ukraine begins launched Deržlìsagenstvom “the future of the forest in your hands”, the goal of which is to spread knowledge about forests and their importance for the existence of life on the planet, nurturing the younger generation of respectful attitude to nature, providing interest in the conservation of forest stands, compliance with rules of conduct in the forest, explaining to the public the importance of the establishment of forest plantations, review and provide opportunities to učnìvskìj young people, representatives of the public participate in the works with reforestation and afforestation.
