All approval from the authorities concerning new changes to sanitary regulations in the forests of Ukraine-Khrystyna Yushkevych

Goslisogenstvo received all approval from authorities to the project of new rules of sanitary-improving measures in the forests of Ukraine. The last step remained – to pass them at the meeting of the Government. This was reported by T. V. Head of the state agency of Forest Resources Christina Yushkevych on his page in Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/kristina.yushkevych/posts/779022738907688).

She reminded that the work group of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was formed on the implementation of the Task Force with the participation of representatives of interested central bodies of executive power, scientific institutions, public environmental organizations, experts World Bank and journalists to improve the normative and legal acts on the implementation of sanitary-and-recreational activities in the forests.

According to the results of this group the principal priority measures for improvement of sanitary-and-recreational measures in the forests were determined and the appropriate draft resolution of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “on amending Cabinet resolutions” was prepared. Of Ministers of Ukraine dated July 27, 1995. № 555 and from May 12, 2007. № 724», where all actual proposals of stakeholders regarding new edition of Sanitary Regulations in the forests of Ukraine are taken into account.

According to T. V. The head of the department, in the new sanitary regulations is improving the mechanism of appointment and implementation of sanitary-and-sanitary measures in the forests, there are restrictions, and on separate parts of the forest Nature-Reserve fund and around the nesting sites of rare predatory Birds – the complete prohibition of sanitary-protection, the more stringent criteria on the principles of forestry, which meet the requirements of all-European strategy of biodiversity and landscape diversity.

Requirements of new sanitary regulations enable to maximize the area of solid tree, which will be only applied under condition of bezpovorotnogo damage of forests by natural factors of insurmountable force (fires, windshafts, Burelomi, Mass Fade in, etc.). stipulated by these rules normative prescriptions will provide informing the public about the state of forest plantings and transparency of decision making on the grounds of planning and legality of their appointment in their respective sanitary-and-health measures.
