The day of defender of Ukraine is a holiday celebrated in Ukraine on October 14 on the day of Holy intercession of the Virgin at the same time with the day of Ukrainian Cossacks.

This is a real holiday of courage and dedication, the holiday of chivalry and nobility, which have real defensive, liberators and defenders of Ukraine.

This is the feast of everyone who at one time or another applied his knowledge, strength, courage and professionalism to protect our state.

On the occasion of the holiday I congratulate everyone who is the high title of defender of Ukraine, and I wish to succeed in whom the exam is still ahead.

I warmly congratulate veterans, participants of fighting, military personnel, warriors of reserve, parents and mothers of soldiers, and good health, kindness, happiness, consent to you and your families.
