October 14, 2016 our country celebrates the day of defender of Ukraine for the second time.

In the history of our country there are holidays that are of great importance to Ukraine.
Among them-the events of the national scale, to which the Ukrainian people walked a few centuries, conquering their freedom and independence.

In October 2014, the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko issued a decree on the official celebration of the day of Defender of Ukraine on October 14, on the intercession. Also on this day celebrated Ukrainian Cossacks ‘ day and the birth of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA).
These holidays are closely connected with the historical past of the Ukrainian people, the world will reveal the will of Ukrainians to freedom and independence.
Over the centuries, Ukraine has been harassed and attacked by “friendly” neighbors, and always the Ukrainian people have been giving a good fight to the attackers.
The events of recent years in the country have brought in our life special values and sensations.
The iconic day of October 14 is intended to honor the memory of all the characters that put life for the motherland, for its prosperity and well-being.
On this day we congratulate our fellow-defenders with the holiday of courage, endurance and sincere love to Ukraine. The heavy trials that fell to the fate of the country rallied the people to fight the aggressor. Genetic memory of Ukrainian generations, the sense of dignity and freedom helped us to stop the enemy and overcome it. On your mighty shoulders is responsible for the integrity and unity of the state.
Your example is how you define new landmarks and provide examples to follow. You are a living legend present. Your labor, your heroism and courage will be glorified by the following generations. This you have become a caretaker of the bright future of our children and worthy, quiet life of our fathers, for that you have a great honor.
