Association of Forestry Workers

It was created by decision of the founding conference of Delegates from 25 regions of Ukraine, which took place on June, 2, 1990 in Boyarka. This Conference was adopted by the Statute of the Association, which gives grounds to consider its first congress of the Association.

The company included more than 24 thousand individual members-engineering and technical workers of forestry, scientists, teachers, veterans of forest industry.

December 21, 1991, according to the decision of the unifying conference, the Association of Forestry of Ukraine, taking into account the common goals and tasks in activity, included the members of the Republican forestry Scientific and Technical Society of Ukraine, becoming Thus the successor of this society.

According to the statute of the Company the main decisions concerning the company's activities were on the Society congresses.  The Society's Congress is the supreme organ of the society that has the right to make decisions on any issues of its activity.
