The main results of the visiting board of the State forestry in Vinnytsya region.

On the basis of the Vinnytsya Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting economy June 26-27 the visiting board of the state agency of forest Resources of Ukraine is being extended. Vinnytsya region is a ground in the conditional podillya of best practices on improving the productivity of forests and enrichment of their species.

Head of the Vinnytsya regional Department of Forestry and Hunting economy Anatoly bondaremphasizes that the primary task of forestry has always been, is and will be the reforestation and forest breeding achievement of optimum forestry, forest protection , increase of their productivity and values, the rational use of forest resources, protective functions and useful properties of forests.

In Vinnytchyna, where the oak plantations constitute 80% of the squares of forest grounds, the best conditions of growing oak. Within the framework of Ukraine Podolia refers to the most favourable climatic and soil conditions for growth of valuable indigenous breeds. Within this region, the plantations of the usual oak occupy about 318 thousand hectares, in T. Including. Approximately 50% of them are growing in Vinnitsa region-152 thous. Ha.

High production indices of Vinnytsya forest are connected with scientifically grounded approaches of forest-economic and forest-cultural affairs. The biggest focus is on increasing productivity, the marketiness of plantings, improving their environmental functions and the non-exhausting use of forest resources, forming biologically stable high-performance plantings.

The theoretical bases and methods of creation and cultivation of the high-performance artificial oak plantations with the participation of introdufied and Aboriginal forest breeds have been developed in Vinnytsya region.

In order to improve productivity and improvement of the composition of forest plantings during the last 25 years, state forestry enterprises of management implemented in production of own, scientifically grounded, new technologies of creation and Cultivation of forest crops:

-Forest crops are created by standard landing material with a direct trunk.

-Planting of seedlings is carried out on the dissolved strip in a crest, created by the cultivator of the CLB-1.7 overpass of fertile soil in the zvenal. All these breeds are introduced by pure rows up to 20 – 25% of the total number of seats;

-Cherry wood, for example, reaches the stigma at the age of 50-60 years, when the plantations are already formed. The holding of the passage of the passing of the cherry is taken with plantings of rows, while at the same time increases the density of trees and the favourable conditions for the maximum increase of wood of the usual oak;

This enables the age of the stigma to reach a stock of not 290 m3 and about 500-600 m3 per 1 hectare. In fact, decreasing the width of rows increases the number of business trees. According to our data, the number of business trees in crops is: 6 м – 64%, 4 m – rises to 71%, 3 m – up to 82%, 2 m – 91%. In direct dependence on business trees oak in partial cultures is the reserve and the cost of stem wood. With the reduced width of rows from 6 to 2 meters in partial cultures under the age of 92-107 years the cost of oak wood to 167% rises, planting in general-up to 152%.

Special attention is paid to the design of forest crops, cultivation of planting material in greenhouses. In sufficient quantities are grown and the planting material with the closed root system. And this is the gift of the ground after the mechanized soil training with the improved technology of conducting and summer planting crops with the use of landing material with the closed root system with the help of special device (cone sword).

Formation of future high-performance plantations is a long-term process. A significant reforestation reserve is the broader use of natural renewal. Natural plantations more productive biologically stable than artificial. The forestry successfully created 25-30 percent of cultures by sowing seeds of ordinary and walnut black. Vinnytsya State enterprises of forestry laid down 80 trial areas on cultivation of oak forests in a natural way. That is why natural reproduction of forests is a priority direction of work of Vinnytsia region.
