July 5 – The National Dialogue on Forestry reform: perspectives and Implications
The event is organized by the State agency of forest Resources of Ukraine under the auspices of the UN and will be the contribution of Ukraine to the Warsaw integrated work program of the Forestry and Forestry section of the European Economic Commission UN/FAO.
The expert viewpoint on the main directions of Ukrainian forestry reform will be presented and discussed at the meeting.
Participants will discuss the issues of division of forest management functions, consider positive and negative moments of reforming the forestry in Poland, Bulgaria and Germany.
In addition, the overview of the main indicators of balanced forest management of European countries and the model of forestry management with regard to national features will be presented.
Deputy head of the state Agency for Forestry Resources Volodymyr Bondar, representatives of Forestry and Forestry section of the European Economic Commission of the UN/FAO, state forestry Holding "Forests of Poland" will take part in the event. German-Ukrainian agrarian-political dialogue, Society of Forestry of Ukraine, Association of woodworking Companies of Ukraine, European business Association, scientists.
According to the results of the national dialogue the resolution will be adopted.
