Se "Bila tserkva forestry". Monitoring of plantings in the "Silence period".

According to article 39 "Protection of environment, reproduction conditions, ways of animal migration" of the Law of Ukraine "about fauna" – June 15 the "period of silence" was finished, under the terms of which during mass reproduction of wild animals, from April 1 to June 15, It is forbidden to hold a sanitary fleece of the forest.

In this period of time the Specialists of Forestry Department SE «Bila Tserkva Forestry» Together with forest protection of forestry in cooperation with specialists of the "Kievforest Protection" Company was examined the main forest arrays for revealing deterioration Sanitary state of forests. Special attention was paid to the pine plantations of Sukliksky, Tosmyski and Volodilski Forest, which during the last years suffer from settling complex of stem pests. In the deciduous plantations of Bila Tserkva and Stavyshchensky forest The priority were examined pathological changes in the gingival tree.

During the examination of conifers, the specified forest, discovered a sufficient number of the aged pines, fresh dried-up and dried-up of past years. The formation of significant volumes of the dying trees and dry-plants is the result of settling the weakened plantings of stem pests with their subsequent proliferation into adjacent tree states. In particular, the most regretless include large and small pine alkaloids, the upper crust, six-toothed bark, large and blue pine zlatky and others.

Population development of secondary pests facilitated optimal meteorological conditions, which were formed during the last 6-8 years with increasing of duration of atmospheric drought and correspondingly emergence of deficiency of soil moisture.

In the examined deciduous tree the main causes of disorders are root rot (preferably gums), stem rot (oak usual) and the settling of the mistletoe White (small leaf), with the subsequent accumulation of dry and suitcase.

According to the results of the surveys all problem areas were included in the list of measures to improve the sanitary state of the Forest (published on the site of Kiev Regional and city administration of the forest and hunting economy).
