On April 13, 2018, the journalists of the "Today" program "Ukraine" visited the "Makariv Forestry" State Enterprise.

The guests met with the head of the forestry subsidiary "Makariv Forestry" Sergey Kondratsky and specialists of the forestry.

Serhiy Volodymyrovych briefed journalists on the main areas of activity of the forestry, in particular, he drew attention to the work of the television surveillance system (TCS) and measures to timely detect and prevent forest fires.

Proudly a nursery was demonstrated in which the work was carried out to provide the plant with quality planting material of its own production.

In the forest areas, our visitors were impressed by the amount of work that foresters carry out every day to preserve crops, protect and protect young and forest from diseases, fires and pests.

Particular attention was paid to the actual issue of the present – "mass drying of coniferous plantations". Svetlana Hayova, the main forest pathologist of the State Enterprise "Dymersky forestry", described in detail the root causes of this disaster, and the notorious "apical bark".
