Goslisogenstvo activates struggle against corruption and illicit trafficking of wood,-Khrystyna yushkevych T. V. The head of the state agency of Forest Resources Christina Yushkevych and head of the Department of Defense of National Police of Ukraine Ihor Kutanets signed the Protocol on information cooperation. According to the document, the State Committee for the purpose of creating a system of interaction with law enforcement provides access to the electronic accounting system of wood (EOD) of the employees of the Department of Economic Protection of the National Police. The signing of the Protocol will provide for strengthening control over protection, protection and use of forests of Ukraine, prevention of illegal rubles, timely prosecution for violations of the forestry legislation of Ukraine. «Goslisogenstvo activates struggle against corruption and illicit trafficking of wood. Henceforth we will cooperate more closely with the law enforcement. National Police officers will be able to see not only general information during the inspection of wood, but also complete data about wood products from the date of preparation to shipment to end users. This will ensure the efficiency of the detection of offenders,-said Christina Yushkevych. Note that the government is subordinated to 73% of forests, and 27% are other regular forest users, such as the Ministry of Environment, Defense, regional councils and others. The use of modern methods of counteraction to illicit deforestation and the shadow circulation of wood in Europe and worldwide is given great importance and attention. Due to introduction of the electronic accounting system, the state has the possibility of multi-stage control. Nearly 100% of goslisgenism introduced electronic accounting of wood. Also, goslyogenstvo at the legislative level propose to consolidate the state system of unified electronic accounting of wood for all permanent forest users.
