GOVERNMENT AGENCY: ENTERPRISES OF THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY FOR THE QUARTER OF 2018 MORE THAN 1.5 MILLION HIRING OF TAXES ISSUED AND ENTERED TO BUDGETS OF ALL LEVELS

In the first quarter of 2018, forestry enterprises subordinated to the State Agency for Forestry received more than 4 billion UAH of net income from the sale of products (goods, works, services), which is UAH 935 million more than in the same period last year (an increase of 30.5%). This was announced today by Deputy Chairman of the State Agency of Forest Resources Volodymyr Bondar during the board of the department.

"Forest management was directed to 1.4 billion hryvnias, which is 355 million hryvnia more than in the first quarter of 2017," said Vladimir Bondar.

According to him, 98,3% of his working capital was spent on forestry operations.  At the expense of financial and other assistance 1,7% of funds were received.

"According to the operational data in the first quarter of 2018, the enterprises of the industry received 147 million hryvnias of net profit", – said the Deputy Chairman of the State Agency of Forestry.

Also, as Volodymyr Bondar noted, in the three months of 2018, enterprises of the sector paid to the budgets of all levels 1,1 billion UAH of taxes, duties and compulsory payments, which is 25% more than in the corresponding period of 2017.

The largest amount of taxes and duties to the budgets of all levels was paid by the enterprises of the oblast administrations: Zhytomyrsky – UAH 138 million, Rivne region – 99, Sumy district – 90, Kiev district – 86, Zakarpatsky district – 86 and Chernihiv city – UAH 80 million.

"In addition to taxes, industry enterprises paid 320 million hryvnias of a single social contribution in the reporting period. Together, taxes and a single social contribution of 1 billion 443 million hryvnias were paid ", – said Deputy Head of the State Agency of Forestry.

Volodymyr Bondar stressed that such amounts of profits and paid taxes indicate that the activity of state-owned forest enterprises is subordinated to the State Agency of Forestry.
