The State enterprise "Dymerske forestry" would like to remind citizens about changes that have come into force this year for illegal deforestation.

Illicit porubka trees or shrubs in forests, protective and other forest plantings, transportation, storage, marketing illegally cut trees or shrubs, causing significant damage penalized with 1000 to 1500 tax-free lows of incomes Citizens or arrests for up to six months, or a restriction of freedom for a period of up to three years or imprisonment for the same term.

The same actions committed by re-or by the previous-language group of persons are punished by a restriction of freedom for a term of three to five years or imprisonment for the same term.

Such actions, made in preserves or in areas or objects of the natural-protected Fund, or in other especially protected forests are punished with a fine of 1500 to 2000 non-taxable minima or a restriction of freedom for a period of three to five years, or Imprisonment for the same term.

The same actions, if they caused severe consequences, are punished with imprisonment for a term of 5 to 7 years.

Consequently, the social danger of the unauthorized ruse lies not only in the fact that the public property is stolen, but also in the application of irreparable damage to the ecology of our land. Any non-professional, and more so, criminal intervention will result in a significant deterioration of its state, and in significant amounts – to complete destruction.
