Today there were held the XXI all-Ukrainian competition-competitions of forest Waltz and Х competition of professional skills "the best operator of Hydromanipulator-2018".

Today, 30 August, on the basis of the SE "Teterivskoye forestry" Kyiv Regional and City Kiev administration of forestry and hunting economy are held competitions of forest workers-21 all-Ukrainian competition-competition of rollers Forests and 10 competition of professional skills «best operator of Hydromanipulator – 2018».

The competitions of forest rollers and hydromanipulators operators are held for many years in a row. However, in the future should be a competition of workers of different forest professions. It is necessary to raise the deserved prestige of the forest industry workers, which are in Ukraine and all over the world. This is confirmed by the high professionalism with which our employees have come to these competitions, said Volodymyr Bondar, deputy head of the state agency of forest resources during the opening of contests.

The rollers take part in five competition competitions: replacing the chain of chainsaws, combined and tonal sawing of logs, pruning of branches and stalling of trees.

The participants of the All-Ukrainian competition of loggers are the winners of regional selections, the teams of OJSC Motor Sich, Andreas Shtil LLC and Khuskvarna Ukraine Ltd.  This year 27 teams (more than 30 participants, among which are juniors) will take part in the competition. 12 participants took part in the competition of professional skill of the Hydromanipulator operators, held in parallel.

The event is held to popularize the professions of forestry and forestry industries. After all, qualifications of the scaffold is extremely important both in the preparation of the forest, and at the execution of selective sanitation and rudbok care. It is important to gently cut wood without damaging the neighboring ones. After all, almost all works from harvesting are carried out on a complex multi-operating technology and require clarity and caution. Thus, from the preparedness of operators and rollers in many respects the quality of the executed felling and, as a result, is the state of Ukrainian forests.

The competition is conducted according to the rules of the International Association of Forest Rollers.

Note that the stalling of trees takes place in a specially allocated area of the forest, according to the duly formalized permit-the loggers ticket, which is issued on the basis of materials forestry. On the site of the log cabins will be obligatory to restore the forest. All harvested in the course of the competition wood will be recorded and further directed to meet the needs of domestic woodworking companies.

More than 20 thousand loggers work every day in forest plantations of state forestry. In addition, the same works are performed in agrarian, military, forestry and private farms. Thus, the number of people with the forestry tool in Ukraine reaches about 40 thousand people. Forestry works are one of the categories of extremely traumatic works, according to the level of injuries it is on the same level with works in the coal industry. Bitter statistics testifies: each million cubic meters of wood harvesting takes one human life. The work of the forest is not only extremely dangerous, but also extremely responsible. Because of his mastery depends on the result of almost hundred years labor of the Litsivnikov. The skill of the roller is able to get out of the cultivated wood maximum economic effect. High professional skill, ability to predict results, to take into account the peculiarities of climatic and weather conditions, seasonality are factors that should be considered in the work of Forest Walnyky.

2nd place – Serhiy Zhuravel (the team of Rovno Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting economy)

3rd place – Yuriy Brovko (Team of Zhytomyr Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting economy)

Among the juniors winners of the 21st All-Ukrainian competition-the competitions of forest rollers were:

1st place – Yevhen Krasnikov (Team of Sumy Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting economy)

2nd place – Oleksandr Lodzko (Team of Zhytomyr Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting economy)

3rd place – Artur Savchuk (Khmelnytsky Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting economy)

As a result of the competition winners of the 10th all-Ukrainian competition of professional skills "best operator of Hydromanipulator-2018" were:

1st place – Valeriy Gryzhenku (the team of Chernivtsi Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting economy)

2nd place – Serhiy Pustovit (Team of the Poltava Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting economy)

3rd place – Vasyl Drosyuk (Team of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting economy)
