The head of the state agency of Forest Resources Christina Yushkevych entrusted the heads of regional forestry and hunting economy departments to place on official websites information on the volumes of billets and location of firewood sales points Fuel. It is also obliged to provide uninterrupted supply to the places of their implementation (intermediate and lower warehouses).

“Now there is an increase in demand for fuel firewood, while state forestry can satisfy the needs of the population and institutions of the social sphere in full,”-said Christina Yushkevych.

According to her, each year the workpiece is about 4 million cubic meters of fuel and 1.5 million cubes of waste timber. They can be used for heat power needs. For example, only this year more than 360 boiler-houses of educational institutions are transferred to alternative fuels.

“Employees of schools, kindergartens, hospitals, in which solid fuel boilers are installed, can apply to forestry. The implementation of wood-burning and non-liquid wood is carried out according to the statements through the conclusion of direct agreements or on the results of procurement procedures,-stressed T. о. Chairman of the State forestry agency.

It also reported that the regional administrations have limited level of profitability, which allows the population and institutions of the social sphere to buy wood at a reduced price.
