Vladimir Bondar and Damien of Orava discussed the issues of further cooperation in the framework of the memorandum on Cooperation in forestry

Today, during the visit to the Republic of Slovenia, the delegation of Ukrainian Forestry, headed by deputy head of the state agency of Forest Resources, Volodymyr Bondar continued to study the experience of Slovenian forestry workers.

In particular, the delegation got acquainted with the method of timber preparation and transportation after the wind shaft in the mountain conditions, with the help of cable installation.

As the Slovenian LITSIVNYKY noted in their state, the development of electronic accounting of wood began recently. In Slovenia, unlike Ukraine, the reading of information about the harvested wood is made with electronic plugs.

The Ukrainian delegation also toured the forest nurseries, where the material for artificial reforestation is grown, which in Slovenia is only 3%.

According to the head of the Forestry service of Slovenia, Damana Horzheema, the state grants subsidies for forest crops, if it is provided by the Forestry plan. In the case of artificial forest breeding, after natural cataclysms, the State grants subsidies for the reforestation and acquisition of landing material both by the State company and private owners.

In addition, according to Volodymyr Bondar, deputy chairman of the State Committee, the Parties discussed the directions of further cooperation within the framework of the memorandum on cooperation in the field of forestry.

We agreed to strengthen the cooperation of scientific institutions, improvement of the legislation in the field of forestry seeds taking into account adaptation to EU requirements. It will also be worked out the question of the possibility of obtaining Ukraine's laboratory equipment from Slovenia,-said Volodymyr Bondar.
